All children are extremely excited to be taking part in an 'Apprentice' style day in which they have to design a new flavour ice-cream for the local company Patures Moo. This will involve creating posters, packaging, advertiesments, jingles and will end with a presentation to Alistair English, one of the founders of Pastures Moo Ice-Cream company. Alistair has been kind enough to spend the day working with the children and will be providing the winning team with a prize of an ice-cream desert of their choice delivered to school next week.
What a fantastic opportunity for our children to learn enterprise skills from a real-life entrepeneur!
You can check out their website at: www.pasturesmoo.co.uk/
Today has been a wonderful day with many enterprise skills included. Us children have been split into groups and worked together to make a new flavour, create an advert, a jingle, make up a team name and create some packaging for the ice-cream. This enterprise day has been all about 'Pastures Moo', a popular ice-cream parlour. We have all had such a fun day, teachers and students. We had an amazing assembly to announce who won, chosen by Alistair English the ice-cream man! The winners were Positve Moo-Set and their winning flavour, Raspberry Fazz-Ma-Tazz. We cant wait for our prize next week.
