At Kilnhurst Primary School, we believe that wearing a smart and practical uniform helps children feel part of our school community and ready to learn.
We ask all pupils to wear the correct uniform each day. Our uniform is designed to be affordable, comfortable, and easy to source.
Everyday School Uniform
Children should wear:
- Red sweatshirt or cardigan (school logo optional)
- White polo shirt or shirt
- Grey or black trousers, shorts, skirt, or pinafore
- Red and white gingham dress (summer option)
- Black, sensible school shoes
PE Kit
Children should come to school wearing their PE kit on their allocated PE days:
- Plain white t-shirt
- Black or dark shorts/joggers
- Plain sweatshirt or hoodie (outdoor PE)
- Trainers suitable for physical activity
Jewellery & Appearance
To ensure safety and consistency:
- Jewellery should not be worn, except:
- A watch
- One pair of small stud earrings
- Earrings must be removed or covered for PE
- No make-up or nail varnish
- Long hair should be tied back
Where to Buy Uniform
Most items can be purchased from high street retailers and supermarkets.
- Branded items (with the school logo) are optional
- These can be purchased from our approved supplier (details below or via the school office)
Affordability & Support
We are committed to ensuring our uniform is affordable for all families.
- Logo items are not required
- Second-hand uniform may be available from school—please contact the office for support
